Kaolin cups

Kaolin is a series of cups made in homage to the famous china clay known as kaolin, from Mount Gaoling and exploited for centuries at Jingdezhen in making the very first porcelain. The pieces evoke water and stone, the two basic ingredients of ceramics. They were created in Jingdezhen then finished in the ceramic studios at ENSA in Limoges.
